Module Builder Retirement
In an effort to provide the best in learning content, we have made the decision to retire the use of our Module Builder Functionality. This article outlines the staggered offboarding process we will take over 2025.
Why is Module Builder no longer the best tool?
There are a few reasons why we are making this decision with the main points being that Module Builder is no longer the standard that we would recommend for the creation of mobile first e-learning content, and, more importantly, Module Builder is not aligned with WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) in 2025.
How will it work?
Understandably, this may affect how you present your learning content to your learners. But please be reassured that we are not taking the functionality away straight away, as we will be operating a staggered offboarding process for the tool.
You will still be able to create new Module Builder content until the 14th August 2025.
Between the 14th August and 11th December 2025, you will be able to make edits to your existing Module Builder content, but you will not be able to create new modules.
From the 11th December 2025, edits can no longer be made, however you will be able to allocate and fully report on all published Module Builder content hosted on your Flow Learning platform.
What can be used instead?
Flow Learning has come a long since the introduction of Module Builder. We are confident that there are other features, tools and functionality that can assist you in delivering your content to your learners, such as:
