Improvements
Appraisals Disabled Behaviour in Training Structures
We’ve updated how disabled appraisals behave in Training Structures to match the behaviour of modules. Disabled appraisal templates are now automatically removed from Training Structures and can no longer be issued once they’re no longer relevant.
Why this Matters
Previously, disabled appraisals remained in Training Structures and continued to be issued, even when outdated. This meant users needed to manually update structures, which this update now streamlines. The change ensures Training Structures only include active, relevant appraisal templates — improving accuracy and reducing maintenance.
Key Benefits
- Clarity: Disabled appraisals no longer appear in Training Structures.
- Consistency: Matches how disabled modules are handled.
- Accuracy: Only relevant and active appraisals are issued to learners.
Efficiency: Reduces admin effort by automatically removing outdated appraisals.
Appraisal Email Notifications Formatting
We’ve refined the formatting of Appraisal notification emails so headers and data align neatly within the message body.
Why this Matters
Previously, header and data alignment in Appraisal emails could appear slightly offset, making content harder to scan. With this update, the layout is clear, consistent, and professional — helping users read and understand information at a glance.
Key Benefits
- Clarity: Headers and data now align correctly for easier reading.
- Professionalism: A more polished and consistent presentation.
- Confidence: Users can trust the accuracy and quality of the information they receive.
Training Manager Role Assignment Alignment
We’ve refined how Training Manager roles are assigned in Flow to better support multi-product operators. Previously, if a user was a manager in another Mapal product but not in Flow, the system could automatically assign them a Training Manager role in Flow.
Why this Matters
This scenario hadn’t existed before and became visible as we introduced more multi-product operators. The updated logic now ensures that only users with Flow Admin access in MOS are assigned Training Manager roles in Flow — keeping user permissions accurate and aligned across products.
Key Benefits
- Accuracy: Training Manager roles now only apply to users with Flow access in MOS.
- Consistency: Ensures correct role handling for multi-product operators.
- Clarity: Prevents unexpected role assignments and simplifies admin management.
Training Manager Profile Alignment on Business Unit Changes
We’ve improved how Flow updates Training Manager profiles when linked employees move between business units in MOS.
Why this Matters
Previously, when an employee connected to a Training Manager user in OS moved to a new business unit, Flow correctly updated the learner profile but didn’t reflect the change on the Training Manager’s profile. With this update, business unit changes are now mirrored for Training Managers too, keeping user details aligned across systems.
Key Benefits
- Accuracy: Training Manager profiles now stay in sync when employees move between business units.
- Consistency: Strengthens alignment between MOS and Flow data.
- Efficiency: Reduces manual updates for admins.
