New Features

  • Collection API Endpoints

We’ve introduced new API endpoints allowing external systems to retrieve Collection IDs and assign Collections directly, without using Training Structures.

Why this Matters

This gives customers managing assignment the ability to manage Collection  assignments entirely via integration, reducing reliance on Training Structures for integration-led assignment.

Key Benefits

  • Reduced manual configuration: Removes the need to build and maintain Training Structures for integration-based Collections assignment.
  • More flexibility: Organisations can choose to assign Collections via integration if they prefer.

Improvements

  • French Translations

We’ve improved French translations across Flow to ensure consistency, clarity, and accuracy throughout the interface.

Why this Matters

These translation improvements make Flow easier to navigate and understand for French-speaking users, helping create a smoother day-to-day experience.

Key Benefits

  • More consistent translations: Corrects missing or incorrect French text across the product.
  • Better user experience: Provides clearer wording that reflects the intended meaning in Flow.
  • Smoother day-to-day use: Helps ensure the product feels complete and professional for French-speaking users.

  • External Training Refreshers in Collections

External Training items inside Collections now refresh automatically according to their refresher rules. Previously, these items were only refreshed when run manually.

Why this Matters

Customers rely on automatic refresher cycles to maintain compliance. This ensures External Training behaves consistently with modules when included in Collections.

Key Benefits

  • Automatic refreshers: External Training now behaves consistently with modules inside Collections.
  • Reduced admin: Removes the need for admins to manually trigger refresher assignments.
  • Safer fix-forward approach: Prevents unexpected bulk assignments while ensuring correct behaviour going forward.

  • Learner Email Addresses in External Training Report

The External Training Report now includes a column for learner email addresses. This helps identify learners when external IDs are not used.

Why this Matters

Email addresses are a common fallback identifier. Including them improves accuracy and reduces manual cross-checks.

Key Benefits

  • More reliable learner identification: Helpful for customers who use email instead of external IDs.
  • Reduced manual checks: Minimises the need to cross-reference learner data outside the system.
  • Supports onboarding and migrations: Makes it simpler for teams to validate learner records during moves or historical uploads.

  • SCORM Download Options Removed

SCORM modules are no longer shown as available for download in Flow. Since SCORM packages come from external content providers, these files should be downloaded directly from the provider rather than from Flow. Removing the download option keeps Flow aligned with how SCORM content is intended to be distributed.

Why this Matters

This update ensures the SCORM export workflow reflects the correct source of content. It also keeps Flow focused on hosting and delivering SCORM modules rather than distributing the original package files.

Key Benefits

  • Accurate workflow: SCORM packages are accessed directly from the content provider.
  • Streamlined experience: Removes unnecessary download options within Flow.
  • Correct behaviour: Keeps Flow aligned with how SCORM content is intended to be managed and delivered.

  • Module Builder Decommissioning

Editing of existing Module Builder content is now disabled. Export, Archive, and Deactivate actions remain available for managing these modules.

Why this Matters

This update ensures legacy Module Builder content remains stable while still allowing essential management actions.

Key Benefits

  • Stable legacy modules: Prevents changes to existing Module Builder content.
  • Essential actions remain available: Export, Archive, and Deactivate options continue to be supported.
  • Clearer behaviour: Keeps Module Builder content intact.

Bug fixes

Training Manager Job Title Allocation
We fixed a bug to ensure learning items assigned to Training Managers correctly display “System” as the assignment source.
Datatable Size Dropdown Not Showing in French
We resolved an issue that prevented the page size dropdown (25, 50, 100) from appearing when the browser language was set to French.
Appraisals/Workbooks Reissue Template Name Change
We corrected the behaviour so renaming an Appraisal or Workbook no longer affects template content when reissued to learners who have not yet started.
Assign Competence Missing Description
We applied a fix to ensure Competence descriptions always display when assigning via the learner profile.
