Enhancements

OS Origin companies: In this sprint we worked on improving the onboarding process for companies created in OS. If this is the case then the system will automatically switch on the Mapal OS authentication in administration.
Auto update end date: If a learner is marked as a leaver, then we now automatically populate the employment end date.
Learner email updates in OS auth companies: We have updated the process so that learner email addresses can be updated in OS authenticating companies. This means that their contact for communications can be easily updated without having to change anything about the user profile.
Prevention of reporting level updates in Flow: If a user is an OS user, then we have prevented updating of reporting levels in Flow, as this should come from OS instead. The fields are un-editable in Flow so that the data can be better managed in OS.
Archive of External Training in Training Calendar: In this sprint we have ensured that archived External Training items do not appear in Training Calendar as available sessions.
Goals awaiting review filter: So that users can filter the goals report more accurately, we have added a filter to allow them to filter by Goals that are ‘Awaiting review’.

Goals awaiting review tile: As well as the new filter on the Goals report, we have also added in a new ‘Goals awaiting review’ tile on the management system dashboard, so that users can see at a glance how many goals are awaiting review.

Compliance report ‘Allocated by’ column: This update was submitted as an enhancement request. During this sprint we added in a new column that tells the user how a compliance item has been allocated. This can either be by the learner themselves, through the system, or via a manager.

Noticeboard items multi select: Another enhancement request was the ability to multi select noticeboard items in order to archive them on masse. We have added this to the ‘Group by name’ view in the management system. In this view the user can now tick multiple items and then go to the menu where they will have the option to archive.

Collection Completion Date: We also received a request to include a column for completion date for collections, so we have now included this in this sprint.

Appraisals Mandatory Additional Comment Boxes: We previously added a toggle for making additional comment boxes mandatory, and now we have added in the part where the manager is prevented from submitting the appraisal if an additional comment box is marked as mandatory. Appraisals must have sign off settings assigned in order to prevent submitting before mandatory comment boxes from being submitted.

Bug fixes

User verification: We were previously preventing a change of employee email address in OS platforms, but this is now possible
Flow MS > OS Log out: Users with access to Flow and OS were not being logged out of Flow when logging out of OS, this has now been resolved
Goals in Collections: We had a bug whereby learners could not complete a locked collection where a goal was included. The Collections can now be completed.
Appraisals and Workbooks in Collections: Learners were not able to complete a locked collection where a workbook or appraisal is included, this has been resolved also.
Flow Management System Logout: We have made a fix to ensure that when a user logs out of Flow, then their active session is also automatically cleared on OS.
SCORMs changing to inactive when replaced: We have worked on the SCORM functionality to ensure that when a SCORM is replaced then it is not changed to inactive.
