What is Mapal RealPlay?

Mapal RealPlay is a bespoke AI role-play service combining generative conversation engine & Mapal’s learning design experience. It’s designed to go beyond traditional role play limitations and delivers authentic practice at scale regardless of budget or expertise.

Why do I need the RealPlay scenario?

RealPlay closes the practice gaps left by traditional role play. RealPlay allows your team to practice in realistic, safe & effective spaces whenever they need

Can I add a RealPlay module into my Collections & Training Structures?

Yes. RealPlay modules are like any other Flow module and you can add them to your Collections & Training Structures.

Do I need to get my IT team involved in adding RealPlay?

Most customers don’t need IT resources to add RealPlay. RealPlay modules are in Flow SCORM meaning minimal deployment effort. However, we’re ready to help and advise if needed.

Mapal RealPlay is AI based, why do I need Mapal to configure it? Why can’t I do it myself like all the other AI tools?

We handle the complexity of scenario development (the background, the avatar persona, the skills definitions, the achievement definitions) so you save time and avoid expensive trial-and-error. Our experts design the role-play end-to-end, based on your requirements, giving you a realistic, consistent ready-to-use experience that delivers impact from day one.

Can I see granular reports on each learner’s practice session?

A big benefit of RealPlay is to provide a safe space for practice. We feel that would be damaged if learners felt every practice was being judged. We’ll review this as we get more feedback from you and our other customers. You do still have access to all the other reporting in Flow.
