Puttshack: Powering people development with a modern, connected approach

""

Puttshack blends the fun of mini golf with tech powered gameplay to create high energy venues full of connection and unforgettable moments. With teams at the heart of the experience, people across the business need to feel supported and equipped to bring the Puttshack magic to life each day. With support from Mapal, Puttshack has strengthened development, streamlined training and created a more engaging growth journey across the business, boosting team confidence and elevating the guest experience.

The challenge

Before using Mapal, many people processes were handled manually, relying on non digital methods that no longer suited the fast, tech driven pace of the venues. Progress was hard to track, follow up actions were easily lost and leaders had no single place to see how their teams were developing. Without a modern way to capture and build on conversations, it was difficult to create the structured, consistent experience Puttshack wanted for everyone across the business.

The solution

Introducing Mapal brought all development, training and performance conversations into one modern, easy to use platform. The team combined their own bespoke SCORM modules with Mapal’s high quality content to create training that felt consistent and perfectly suited to their fast paced environment.

Career Mapping quickly became a standout feature. Clear pathways showed teams which skills and behaviours supported progression, while leaders gained one place to track development, guide meaningful conversations and support internal mobility. Digitalising key processes removed heavy admin, made follow ups effortless and ensured nothing was lost. With everything connected, development became more accessible, structured and motivating across the business.

A hole-in-one for people development

With Mapal in play, Puttshack has seen a clear lift in how teams learn, grow and take charge of their own development:
