Today we operate two software solutions - MAPAL Software & Flow Hospitality - & will be looking to add more in the future!

MAPAL was created in 2008 by a group of professionals with more than 30 years’ experience in management of restaurant and retail chains. Today, our workforce management, operational and business intelligence solution is trusted by large restaurant and retail brands, independent groups and first-class gastronomy names, making a total of 6,000 establishments in Spain, Europe and the USA.

Flow Hospitality Training delivers an innovative, cost effective approach to learning & development for the hospitality and tourism industries. Flow has built a reputation on high quality, effective training with a culture that is committed to delivering great solutions to our customers. Flow works with over 850 customers globally, including some of the leading and most prestigious operators across the UK.

We have ambitious growth plans and recently received strategic investment from Providence Strategic Growth who is helping support our growth.

  • The role will be based in Scotland and working with maturing SCRUM teams, on a verity of exciting projects in the Learning & Development solution. You will be part of a growing agile team within the organisation.
  • Coach team members in Agile and Scrum best practices
  • Facilitate SCRUM ceremonies
  • Measure to improve with Agile metrics.
  • Promote Agile principles and Scrum Values
  • Help Product Owners find solutions to define product goals and manage complex backlogs.
  • Resolve conflicts, remove obstacles and dependency management.
  • Help teams to maximize the delivered value.
  • Facilitate an environment where quality is measures are consistently met.
  • Help build a productive environment where team members ‘own’ the product and enjoy working on it.
  • Help to promote Agile and Scrum within the wider organisation
Essential Knowledge & Skills
  • Good understanding of modern software development practices
  • Excellent knowledge of Scrum framework
  • Good knowledge of other Agile and Lean frameworks (XP, Lean, Kanban, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and servant leadership skills
  • Proactive mindset
  • Problem-solving and conflict-resolution ability
  • Outstanding organizational skills
  • Degree in Computer Science, Business or similar field
  • Scrum master certification is a plus
  • Experience in scaled agile frameworks desirable
